I grew up on a dairy farm near Milaca, Minnesota. I attended a one-room country school through 5th grade. I graduated from Milaca High School. I attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis receiving a B.A. degree in Communications and Labor Studies. I currently live in Minneapolis’ Longfellow neighborhood.
